Mitsubishi taps into bioplastics supply chain with SAF providers

TOKYO -- Japanese trading house Mitsubishi Corp. is expanding ties with suppliers of sustainable aviation fuels (SAF) providers, while looking to solidify partnerships with brands that want to improve their eco-friendly credentials.

Mitsubishi has partnered with Japanese beverage company Suntory and apparel manufacturer Goldwin to use sustainable plastics for their end-products, and is also in talks with other brands in Japan, the U.S. and Europe, a company representative told Nikkei Asia.
