TOKYO -- A new shopping mall in Bangkok and Samsung Electronics' first foldable smartphone to feature generative AI are among the winners of the 2024 Nikkei Superior Products and Services Award, Nikkei has announced.

Thai developer The Mall Group's EmSphere opened in December 2023 in Bangkok's vibrant Sukhumvit district. A six-story attraction spanning a total floor size of 200,000 square meters with more than 300 tenants, EmSphere is gaining traction as a new tourist spot, attracting 150,000 to 200,000 visitors per day.
