NEW YORK/PALO ALTO, California -- From Amazon to Japanese manufacturers, companies are scrambling to respond to the Trump administration's rapid-fire tariff changes.

"We're going to try and do everything we can to keep prices as low as possible for customers," Amazon CEO Andy Jassy told CNBC on Wednesday.
