TOKYO -- Sayaka Adachi, a human resources staffer at Japanese tech company Nulab, is eagerly awaiting a trip this fall to a small, picturesque town in northern Japan.
"I'm going to Higashikawa in Hokkaido with my husband for about seven days," she said. "There are a lot of people who have moved there and opened stores, so I'm really looking forward to going around to the cafes and bakeries."
