LG partners with Magna in developing self-driving technology

South Korean tech company expands collaboration with Canadian auto parts maker

SEOUL -- LG Electronics said on Wednesday it will partner with Canadian auto parts company Magna for developing self-driving technology with the aim of supplying products to global automakers.

The South Korean company said the two companies will integrate LG's infotainment technology with Magna's advanced driver assistance systems to take the lead in the field of autonomous driving.
