LAS VEGAS, U.S. -- Artificial intelligence is front and center at the CES technology trade show as chipmaking giants battle to roll out the world's most powerful AI chips.

U.S. company Nvidia, which has dominated the AI chip market since last year, unveiled three new graphics processing units (GPUs) on Monday at a virtual event before CES officially kicked off.
