GUIYANG, China -- The China International Big Data Industry Expo opened Friday in the southwestern city of Guiyang, packed with Chinese technology companies vying for a piece of a domestic industry poised to nearly double in size by 2025.
Telecom equipment makers China Electronics Corp. (CEC) and Huawei were among the Chinese companies sending representatives to the conference.
