HONG KONG -- Chinese e-commerce giant PDD Holdings has relocated its headquarters from Shanghai to Dublin as the online retailer accelerates its overseas market expansion while facing increasing scrutiny abroad, particularly from the U.S.
In a filing to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission last week, PDD Holdings, the parent company of discount platforms Pinduoduo and Temu, said its "principal executive offices" are now located in Dublin, Ireland.
