Chinese tech entrepreneur bets big on Japan -- but not China

Founder of voice-to-text app finds attractive market away from home

TOKYO -- Chinese serial tech entrepreneur Ryan Zhang has found success in launching one of his newest apps in Japan, but has yet to make the service available in China.

"There are too many competitors in the Chinese market," Zhang told Nikkei. "Japan is easier to develop since it has numerous small to midsized companies in the private sector."
