TOKYO -- ANA Holdings has appointed Executive Vice President Koji Shibata as the next president and CEO, taking over from current CEO Shinya Katanozaka, the company announced on Thursday.

Shibata will assume his post on April 1, while Katanozaka will become the new chairman of the board of directors.
