SEOUL -- Struggling South Korean conglomerate Kumho Asiana Group intends to sell Asiana Airlines, the country's second-largest carrier, within six months, the chief of the group's main lender revealed on Tuesday.

Kumho will look for a suitor that also can purchase Asiana Airlines' two discount carriers as a package, Lee Dong-gull, chairman and CEO of the state-run Korea Development Bank, told reporters in Seoul.
