TOKYO -- The Bandai Namco Holdings group will open a large virtual reality entertainment center this summer in Tokyo's bustling Shinjuku district, offering a wide range of content featuring popular animation and cartoon characters.
The 3,600 sq. meter facility will be housed in a temporary building to be constructed by the Tokyu group in the Kabukicho entertainment district. It is expected to operate for up to two years until the Tokyo railway operator kicks off an urban renewal project there.
