MUMBAI (NewsRise) -- HCL Technologies forecast strong revenue growth for this fiscal year as India's fourth-largest software exporter rely on acquisitions and partnerships of the past two years to offset the weakness in its core information technology business.

The company, backed by billionaire Shiv Nadar, said it expects dollar revenue to grow 9.5% to 11.5%, barring currency fluctuations, in the fiscal year that began in April. Sales grew 10.5% to $7.84 billion last year.
