Itochu to reward cancer survivors who stay on the job

Japanese trading house sees bonuses as way to retain talent during labor crunch

TOKYO -- Starting next year, Itochu employees who are fighting cancer will not just be encouraged to stay on the job -- they will also be financially rewarded for their progress in recovery.
