JGC to build Japan's largest solar farm

Engineering company beefing up power generation business

Building solar farms is one area in which JGC hopes to increase orders.

TOKYO -- JGC will construct Japan's biggest photovoltaic power station under an order from the local arm of U.S. utility Virginia Solar Group for an estimated 50 billion yen ($438 million).
