BANGKOK/YANGON -- Myanmar conglomerate Yoma Group is expected to resume construction of a mixed-use development in Yangon this year after work stopped following the 2021 military takeover of the government.

Preparations to resume the Yoma Central project are "proceeding as scheduled," said a spokesperson for Singapore-listed unit Yoma Strategic Holdings.
