MUMBAI -- The body of V.G. Siddhartha, the founder and owner of leading Indian coffee chain Cafe Coffee Day, has been recovered from a river in the southern city of Mangalore on Wednesday, almost 36 hours after he went missing.

Siddhartha, who was also chairman of brand operator Coffee Day Enterprises, had been missing since Monday evening.
