MANILA -- Philippine conglomerate Ayala Corp. announced Friday an all-time-high net profit of 42 billion pesos ($734 million) for 2024, up 10% on the year, buoyed by brisk housing sales and consumer lending.

"We continue to be reliant on our core business units but 2025 should be an inflection point for our smaller and newer businesses," CEO Cezar Consing said in a news release.
