SEOUL -- Top South Korean conglomerates Samsung, Hyundai, SK and LG are returning to a controversial business lobby tainted by an influence-peddling scandal under then-President Park Geun-hye in the mid-2010s.
Samsung Electronics, Samsung's flagship unit, decided at a board meeting Friday to rejoin the organization. Hyundai Motor, as well as units of SK and LG, will return as well.
