Sojitz to hire more foreign college graduates

TOKYO -- Sojitz is looking to hire more graduates from top colleges abroad regardless of their ability to speak Japanese, as competition for global employees intensifies among Japanese corporations.

     The Japanese trading house started hiring foreign college graduates, regardless of whether they speak Japanese, in 2012. It has recruited in China, Hong Kong and Singapore before.
