ThaiBev turns to EV charging and restaurants in diversifying from beer

BANGKOK/HANOI -- Thai Beverage Group plans to pursue growth outside the alcoholic beverage market, as an uncertain forecast for domestic sales and difficulties restructuring a Vietnamese acquisition cloud its future.

ThaiBev, one of Southeast Asia's largest beverage companies, will boost investments in restaurants and enter the field of electric vehicle charging stations.
