Toppan Forms to join with AI startup for script digitization

Converting handwritten documents into data to improve operational efficiency

TOKYO -- Japan's Toppan Forms will enter into a capital and business alliance with Cogent Labs, an artificial intelligence venture, for providing a handwriting recognition service that uses AI and market it to corporate customers. 

The service, called Tegaki, reads handwritten information and quickly turns it into digital text. The aim is to improve operational efficiency for businesses.
