KITAKYUSHU, Japan -- Toto, the Japanese maker of high-end bidet toilets, seeks to enhance its customer care in the U.S. by holding friendly contests among its international roster of maintenance workers.

On Tuesday, Toto hosted an international contest in the southwestern Japanese city of Kitakyushu. Repair specialists vied to fix Washlet bidet toilets that were unable to warm up the seat.
