OSAKA -- Sekisui House will develop skilled workers in the U.S. with construction site supervisors and architectural designers from Japan to pass down expertise as the homebuilder seeks growth in the massive American market.

The move comes as U.S. President-elect Donald Trump's pledge to crack down on immigrants spooks a construction industry heavily dependent on their labor.
