TOKYO -- Japan's tallest building under construction here by Mitsubishi Estate will include about 50 luxury apartments, marking a major shift away from devoting space to offices as the rise of telecommuting changes the face of real estate

Torch Tower will face the city's hub of Tokyo Station and is scheduled for completion in fiscal 2027. The rent for the apartments will be more than 5 million yen ($43,000) a month.
