TOKYO -- Japanese homebuilder Sumitomo Forestry has set a goal to build at least 10,000 units a year in the U.S. through 2027, looking to take advantage of surging prices in a hot rental market.
The goal looks to increase the annual rate of growth 25% after the group supplied more than 8,000 rental units last year.
