JAKARTA/SINGAPORE/SHANGHAI -- Chinese beauty brands are expanding their footprint in Southeast Asia, taking aim at a market expected to reach nearly $15 billion driven by rising incomes.

More than 300 viewers tuned in to a recent TikTok livestream pushing such products as foundation and face wash from Skintific, a Chinese brand founded in Indonesia in 2021 with an eye on Southeast Asian markets.
