Cosmetics maker LG Household seeks fresh growth in North America

SEOUL/SHANGHAI -- South Korea's LG Household and Health Care (LG H&H) is shifting focus to North America under a new leadership team, as China's turn away from South Korean cosmetics weakens what had been its main growth engine.

The pivot comes under new CEO Lee Jung-ae, who was tapped in November to replace longtime leader Cha Suk-yong.
