JAKARTA -- Jessica Ismiarso, a homemaker in the East Java town of Malang, says it has been two years since she switched from Indonesian beauty products to a makeup line by Chinese-owned Skintific.

"Their liquid foundations and cushions are really good and long lasting. And they run a lot of promotions," Ismiarso said, noting that she became aware of the brand as it was promoted by many local beauty influencers on social media.
