OSAKA -- Japan's ASICS aims to generate $100 million in annual sales in India in 2026, tapping demand for running shoes and other athletic gear among the country's growing middle class.

The goal represents a 160% increase from 2022. ASICS also aims to become the third-largest player in India for running gear in 2026. It is currently believed to rank fourth.
