The coronavirus and Tokyo Olympics drive demand for ergonomic chairs and desks

Itoki has introduced a line of desks that come in three heights, the tallest of which allows people to work at their PC while standing.

TOKYO -- Japan's work-from-home devotees are creating demand for office furniture.

Although the telecommuting trend arrived late in Japan, it is expected to gain momentum this year as companies pitch in to keep the capital's streets and trains relatively unclogged during the Tokyo Olympics.
