OSAKA -- Japanese air conditioning manufacturer Daikin Industries is considering several acquisitions in Asia and North America to expand its sales network, President Masanori Togawa told The Nikkei.

"Over the next two years we will make bold, forward-looking investments," said Togawa. There is a possibility that the company will exceed its three-year 325 billion yen ($2.91 billion) investment plan, which runs through fiscal 2018.
