TOKYO -- Japanese software company JustSystems will offer its home-learning tablets in the U.S. next month, designed to assist children in grades one through five with their studies.

The Smile Zemi ed-tech platform, which bundles a proprietary tablet with an online service, offers lessons in a range of subjects including math and language arts. The lessons align with Common Core standards adopted by most U.S. states.
