Chinese charger maker Anker pursues Xiaomi-like diversification

With nearly all its sales overseas, company makes forays from vacuums to headphones

TOKYO -- Generating more than 90% of its sales outside China, Anker Innovations stands out in the country's crowded electronics sector, and it believes it has a winning formula that it can apply to even more consumer devices.

While the Shenzhen-based company is best known for its chargers, it has branched into other electronic devices from headphones to vacuum cleaners.
