Chairman Yoshida turns to trusted partner Totoki's entrepreneurial mindset

TOKYO -- With Chief Financial Officer Hiroki Totoki set to take over as president, Sony Group is entrusting two leaders with different skill sets to run the sprawling conglomerate in the age of the metaverse and electric cars.

Current President Kenichiro Yoshida will hand over that title to longtime colleague Totoki in April while remaining chairman and CEO, Sony said Thursday.
