KYOTO -- The departure of former Nissan Motor executive Jun Seki as president of Japanese motor maker Nidec is a turning point in founder Shigenobu Nagamori's long-running search for a successor to run his 5 trillion yen ($36 billion) company.
The hard-charging Nagamori, who serves as chairman and CEO, said Friday that he will choose a new president in April 2024.
