TOKYO -- Japan Display has suspend negotiations with a local government in China to build an OLED panel fab there, the panel maker said Wednesday, after the two sides could not reach a final agreement.

The failure to secure a deal forces the money-losing company, known as JDI, to search for a new path for recovery.
