SEOUL -- South Korea's Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics have released AI-assisted kitchen appliances, aiming to tap demand for value-added products amid price competition with Chinese manufacturers.

At last month's Salone furniture fair in Milan, both Samsung and LG showcased built-in kitchen appliances in spaces of record sizes. Both companies used the event in Italy's fashion capital to unveil products developed for the European market.
