OSAKA -- Sharp will achieve growth overseas by offering a wellness management service that enhances its consumer electronics brand, new CEO Wu Po-hsuan said Tuesday, but the slim profit margin for the company's display business remains a challenge.

"My mission is to elevate the brand value abroad," Wu said in his first press conference since assuming his new title April 1. Sharp looks to expand the share of offshore markets in its consumer electronics sales to 60% from 40% presently.
