TOKYO -- Sony will roll out a new mirrorless single-lens camera next year capable of taking 120 shots per second with automatic focusing, catering to professional photographers who need to capture just the right moment.

The Alpha 9 III will go on sale on Jan. 26 in Japan, where it is expected to be priced at around 880,000 yen ($6,190). It is slated for release in the U.S. on Feb. 21 with a similar price tag.
