JAKARTA/SINGAPORE -- Indonesia will export electricity generated from renewable energy sources to neighboring Singapore, the two countries have agreed, as they deepen their collaboration on green projects.

According to the agreement signed in Jakarta on Friday, the electricity will be sourced from Indonesia's Riau Islands province, south of Singapore, where private companies from both countries will develop solar power plants.
