TOKYO -- A Danish company partly owned by Japanese trading house Itochu and major utility Osaka Gas has started producing green hydrogen with an annual capacity of about 3,000 tonnes, one of the largest active operations in Europe.

This represents a major milestone for Everfuel in an industry where high costs and other obstacles are forcing many European peers to delay projects or drop them altogether.
