TOKYO -- Japan will work with Denmark to develop mass production technology for floating offshore wind turbines, Nikkei has learned, seeking to combine the two countries' expertise to create de facto global standards for the industry.
The two governments are expected to reach an agreement on Tuesday. Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen, who is currently visiting Japan, will meet with Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida on Wednesday to confirm the details.
