TOKYO -- Japanese power company eRex is accelerating its push into Southeast Asia with new biomass projects in Vietnam and Cambodia, eyeing demand in the region for cleaner energy.
In Vietnam, eRex plans to mix biofuel with coal at six power plants operated by Vietnam National Coal and Mineral Industries Holdings (Vinamicon), which have a combined output capacity of over 1,500 megawatts.
