HOUSTON, Texas -- British oil major Shell is increasing its footprint in Canada and Mexico as it looks to export liquefied natural gas to Asia through facilities in those countries.
Construction of Shell's LNG facility in Kitmat, British Columbia, Canada, is 95% complete and is ready to start shipping cargoes by mid-2025, Zoe Yujnovich, who leads the company's natural gas and upstream division, told Nikkei Asia.
