TOKYO -- Blackstone will offer a private credit fund in Japan next month through a partnership with Daiwa Securities Group, targeting wealthy investors seeking higher returns amid persistently low interest rates in the country.

Investors in Japan will be able to invest in the Blackstone Private Credit Fund through a public investment trust set up by Daiwa, the Japanese securities giant announced Thursday. The minimum investment will be $50,000. There are some limitations on redemptions.
