Private banks in Asia bullish on US stocks, divided on domestic markets

SINGAPORE (NewsRise) -- Most private banks in Asia are optimistic about the prospects for U.S. equities but their outlook for Asian and other stock markets is mixed, given the uncertainty about the policies of incoming U.S. President Donald Trump.  

Among the region's largest bankers to the wealthy, UBS Wealth Management and HSBC Private Bank say Asian and other emerging stock markets are likely to perform better this year than last year.
