SINGAPORE -- Credit Saison will give its new international headquarters in Singapore the authority to greenlight overseas investments and proposals that come from the Japanese financial group's operations in the rest of Asia as it pushes to triple its international profit ratio.

Besides Singapore, Credit Saison operates in Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand and India. These markets currently account for almost 10% of the credit card issuer's profits. For the year ending March 2022, Credit Saison posted a business profit of 52 billion yen ($384 million), up 8% from the year before.
