SINGAPORE -- Singaporean sovereign wealth fund GIC is focusing on infrastructure investments and moving money from China to India and Southeast Asia, looking for more stable returns than those provided by stocks and bonds.

"Infrastructure is a large and growing opportunity for us," Ang Eng Seng, GIC chief investment officer for infrastructure, told Nikkei Asia in a recent interview.
