TOKYO -- Asahi Breweries will soon start opening pop-up bars serving beverages with little or no alcohol in Japan and South Korea, aiming to capture demand from a wide clientele of young drinkers.

The limited-time bars will be operated by group company Sumadori, with the first opening April 25 in Nagoya. The others will open later in Osaka and Fukuoka, as well as Seoul. The Japanese company detailed the plans Friday.
